Description
HIF-2 inhibitor 2 is an allosteric HIF-2 inhibitor that selectively antagonizes HIF-2 heterodimerization and DNA-binding activity in vitro and in cultured cells. It reduces expression of HIF-2 target genes.
HIF-2α/EPAS1 drives hypoxia-adaptive transcription programs involved in angiogenesis, erythropoiesis, metabolism and renal cell carcinoma biology. HIF-2 inhibitor 2 is useful for studying selective HIF-2 blockade and hypoxia-dependent transcriptional regulation.
