Description
CID 5951923 is an inhibitor of the transcription factor Krüppel-like factor 5 (KLF5) that reduces endogenous KLF5 protein levels and suppresses colon cancer cell viability.
KLF5 regulates epithelial proliferation, differentiation and oncogenic transcriptional programs in intestinal and colorectal cancer models. CID 5951923 is useful for studying KLF5-dependent gene expression and tumor-cell growth.
