Description
FQI 1 is a cell-permeable, reversible small-molecule inhibitor of the transcription factor LSF/TFCP2 with a reported IC50 value of 2.1 µM. It inhibits LSF DNA-binding activity and induces cell death in LSF-overexpressing cancer cells.
LSF contributes to transcriptional programs that support tumor growth, including hepatocellular carcinoma models. FQI 1 is relevant for studying transcription factor inhibition, cancer cell survival and LSF-dependent oncogenic signaling.
