Description
ZG-2033 is a potent and orally bioavailable hypoxia-inducible factor 2α (HIF-2α) agonist with an EC50 value of 490 nM. In the in vivo efficacy assays, the combination of ZG-2033 and the prolyl hydroxylase inhibitor, AKB-6548 (Axon 3288), was confirmed for the first time to synergistically increase the plasma erythropoietin level in and alleviate zebrafish anemia induced by doxorubicin. An optimized version ZG-2686 (Axon 4459) is also available.
