Description
ZG-2686 is a potent HIF-2α agonist with an EC50 value of 0.25 μM. In cellular assays, ZG-2686 synergistically enhanced HIF-2α-dependent EPO gene expression when combined with the clinically approved prolyl hydroxylase domain (PHD) inhibitor Vadadustat (Axon 3288). As an optimized version, ZG-2686 exhibited significantly improved HIF-2α activity (Emax = 375%) compared to ZG-2033 (Axon 3596).
