HIF Phd Inhibitor 4
- Soluble in DMSO
- MF: C21H17ClN4O5S
- MW: 472.9
Description
HIF Phd Inhibitor 4 is an inhibitor of hypoxia-inducible factor prolyl hydroxylases (HIF-PHD/EGLN enzymes). By inhibiting HIF hydroxylation, it promotes stabilization of HIF transcription factors under normoxic experimental conditions.
HIF-PHD enzymes control oxygen-dependent degradation of HIF-1α and HIF-2α, thereby regulating hypoxia-responsive genes involved in angiogenesis, metabolism, erythropoiesis and cell survival. HIF Phd Inhibitor 4 is useful for probing hypoxia signaling and HIF pathway activation.
Key Features
- HIF prolyl hydroxylase inhibitor
- Promotes HIF pathway stabilization
- Targets oxygen-sensing EGLN/PHD biology
- Useful for hypoxia-response pathway research
Applications
- HIF signaling studies
- Hypoxia and angiogenesis research
- Erythropoietic pathway models
- Cell survival and metabolic adaptation assays
