Description
S 9947 is a Kv1.5/IKur potassium channel blocker that suppresses both cloned Kv1.5 channels and native cardiac ultra-rapid delayed rectifier potassium current.
Kv1.5 contributes to atrial repolarization and is a pharmacological target in atrial electrophysiology. S 9947 is relevant for studying cardiac potassium currents, atrial action potential regulation and ion-channel selectivity.
