Description
Chromanol 293B is a potent and selective blocker of the slow delayed rectifier potassium current (IKs) mediated by KCNQ1/Kv7.1 channels.
KCNQ1 channels contribute to cardiac repolarization and epithelial ion transport. Chromanol 293B is used to define IKs current contributions in electrophysiology and cardiovascular safety pharmacology.
