Description
(±)-PD128907 hydrochloride is the racemic form of PD128907, a selective dopamine D3 receptor agonist. It is used to activate D3 receptor-mediated signaling and to compare racemic activity with the trans-(+)- and (-)-enantiomers.
D3 receptors participate in mesolimbic dopamine signaling, reward biology and neuropsychiatric pathway research. (±)-PD128907 hydrochloride is suited for D3 receptor activation assays and stereochemical structure-activity comparisons.
Key Features
- Selective dopamine D3 receptor agonist
- Racemic PD128907 reference compound
- Activates D3 receptor-mediated GPCR signaling
- Useful for comparison with enantiopure PD128907 analogues
Applications
- Dopamine D3 receptor pharmacology
- Mesolimbic dopamine signaling studies
- Stereoselective agonist activity comparison
- CNS receptor functional assays
