Description
NNC 756 (Odapipam) is a very high-affinity and selective dopamine D1 receptor antagonist with a reported receptor binding Kd value of 0.18 nM. It is more potent than SCH23390 (Axon 4341).
Odapipam blocks D1-like receptor signaling and has been used in receptor-occupancy and neuroimaging studies. It is a useful comparator for dopaminergic motor, cognitive and psychosis-related pathways.
Key Features
- High-affinity dopamine D1 receptor antagonist
- Reported Kd: 0.18 nM
- Suitable for D1 receptor occupancy studies
- Greater D1 antagonist potency than many classical references
Applications
- D1 receptor binding and functional assays
- Dopamine receptor occupancy research
- Motor and cognitive pathway studies
- Psychosis and antipsychotic pharmacology models
