Description
YM 298198 hydrochloride is a selective metabotropic glutamate receptor 1 (mGluR1) antagonist.
mGluR1 contributes to excitatory neurotransmission, synaptic plasticity, cerebellar signaling and pain-related glutamate pathways. YM 298198 is used to block mGluR1 activity and distinguish mGluR1 responses from mGluR5-mediated signaling.
