Description
CPPHA is a metabotropic glutamate receptor 5 (mGluR5) positive allosteric modulator (PAM) that potentiates glutamate signaling through an allosteric site distinct from the classical MPEP site.
CPPHA is useful for investigating allosteric-site diversity, receptor cooperativity and stimulus-dependent mGlu5 signaling. Its pharmacology supports mechanistic studies of synaptic plasticity and glutamate-receptor modulation.
