Description
Perifosine is an orally available Akt pathway inhibitor that interferes with Akt activation in the PI3K signaling pathway.
Akt signaling regulates cell survival, metabolism, proliferation and therapy resistance. Perifosine is used to investigate phospholipid-mediated Akt membrane recruitment, downstream survival signaling and anticancer pathway modulation.
