Description
Kobe 0065 is an orally active RAS inhibitor with preference for HRAS and a reported Ki value of 46 ± 13 μM. It suppresses anchorage-dependent and anchorage-independent growth, induces apoptosis in H-RasG12V-transformed cells and down-regulates downstream MEK/ERK, Akt and RalA signaling.
RAS oncogenes drive proliferative and survival signaling through MAPK, PI3K/Akt and Ral pathways. Kobe 0065 is useful for investigating direct RAS inhibition, oncogenic RAS signaling and antitumor activity in KRAS-mutant carcinoma models.
