Description
Xevinapant is an orally available inhibitor of apoptosis protein (IAP) antagonist that binds XIAP, cIAP1 and cIAP2 with reported Ki values of 66.4 nM, 1.9 nM and 5.1 nM, respectively.
IAP proteins suppress caspase activation and support cancer-cell survival, inflammatory signaling and resistance to apoptosis. Xevinapant is useful for studying SMAC-mimetic pharmacology, apoptotic priming and sensitization of tumor cells to cytotoxic therapies.
