Description
AZD5363 dihydrochloride (Capivasertib) is an orally bioavailable, selective and potent AKT/protein kinase B inhibitor with low-nanomolar activity against AKT pathway signaling.
AKT integrates growth factor and PI3K signals to control survival, metabolism, proliferation and therapy resistance. AZD5363 is used to study AKT-dependent signaling in oncology models and to evaluate pathway inhibition downstream of PI3K activation.
Key Features
- Potent AKT/protein kinase B inhibitor
- Targets PI3K-AKT survival and metabolism signaling
- Orally bioavailable and water-soluble research compound
- Useful for studying AKT-dependent resistance mechanisms
Applications
- AKT phosphorylation and pathway assays
- PI3K-AKT-mTOR signaling research
- Cancer cell survival and proliferation studies
- Combination-treatment and resistance model research
