Description
2-Chloroadenosine is an adenosine A1 and A2A receptor agonist with potent effects on peripheral and central nervous system signaling. It is used to study adenosine receptor activation and purinergic pathway biology.
A1 and A2A adenosine receptors regulate neuronal transmission, vascular tone, immune responses and cardiac function through distinct GPCR signaling pathways. 2-Chloroadenosine is useful for broad adenosine receptor agonist studies.
