Description
GR 79236 is an adenosine A1 receptor agonist used to activate Gi/o-coupled A1 signaling.
A1 receptors inhibit adenylate cyclase and regulate neurotransmitter release, neuronal excitability, nociceptive processing and cardiac conduction. GR 79236 is a useful agonist for probing A1 receptor-mediated responses.
