Description
SB 706504 is a potent and selective p38 MAPK inhibitor with potent activity at p38α and a profile suited for inflammatory gene-expression studies. It suppresses a subset of macrophage inflammatory genes and has been reported to act cooperatively with glucocorticoid signaling.
p38 MAPK regulates cytokine production, stress responses and inflammatory transcriptional programs in immune cells. SB 706504 is useful for dissecting p38-dependent inflammatory signaling and macrophage gene regulation.
