Description

Irestatin 9389 is a potent IRE1 endoribonuclease inhibitor with an IC50 value of 6.3 nM and activity against the unfolded protein response.

IRE1α is a central ER stress sensor that mediates XBP1 mRNA splicing and adaptive UPR signaling. Irestatin 9389 is useful for interrogating ER stress biology, secretory pathway stress responses and IRE1-dependent survival mechanisms.
