Description
JNJ 26854165 (Serdemetan) is an orally active HDM2/MDM2 pathway inhibitor reported to activate p53-dependent responses in cancer cells.
The MDM2-p53 interaction is a major checkpoint controlling p53 stability, transcriptional activity and apoptosis. JNJ 26854165 is relevant for investigating p53 reactivation strategies, tumor cell stress responses and HDM2-dependent survival mechanisms. The water soluble salt, JNJ 26854165 dihydrochloride (Axon 1586), is also available.
