Description
NBI 34060 (Indiplon) is a high-affinity positive allosteric modulator (PAM) of α1 subunit-containing GABAA receptors acting at the benzodiazepine site. It is a nonbenzodiazepine hypnotic research compound.
GABAA receptor subtype-selective modulators help dissect inhibitory neurotransmission and sedative-hypnotic mechanisms. NBI 34060 is useful for studying α1-containing GABAA receptor modulation and benzodiazepine-site pharmacology.
