Description
ZCZ 011 is a brain-penetrant positive allosteric modulator of the cannabinoid CB1 receptor. It enhances responses to orthosteric CB1 agonists without directly replacing endogenous cannabinoid signaling.
CB1 receptors regulate pain, reward, appetite, memory and synaptic neurotransmitter release. ZCZ 011 is useful for studying CB1 allosteric modulation, endocannabinoid tone and CNS cannabinoid pharmacology.
