Description
UK 383367 is a potent and selective BMP-1/procollagen C-proteinase inhibitor with reported IC50 activity of 44 nM for BMP-1 and weak activity against several matrix metalloproteinases.
BMP-1 processes procollagens and extracellular matrix precursors involved in collagen maturation and tissue remodeling. UK 383367 is useful for studying extracellular matrix biology, fibrosis, wound healing and metalloprotease selectivity.
