Description
Y-27632 dihydrochloride is a selective Rho-associated protein kinase (ROCK) inhibitor with IC50 values of 140–220 nM for ROCK1 (p160 ROCK) and ROCK2. By inhibiting ROCK signaling, Y-27632 modulates cytoskeletal organization, cell adhesion, migration, proliferation, and apoptosis.
Y-27632 is widely used in stem cell research and has been shown to significantly improve the survival of human embryonic stem cells (hESCs) following dissociation and passaging. Due to its robust biological activity and reproducible performance, Y-27632 is one of the most highly recommended tool compounds for stem cell culture applications.
