Description
AG 490 is a tyrphostin-class inhibitor widely used to suppress JAK2-dependent signaling and downstream STAT activation.
AG 490 has been applied to cytokine- and growth-factor signaling studies involving JAK2/STAT pathways, including hematopoietic proliferation and inflammatory responses. Because its selectivity is limited, orthogonal controls are recommended when assigning effects specifically to JAK2.
