Description
LY 2784544 (Gandotinib) is an ATP-competitive inhibitor of Janus kinase 2 (JAK2), including signaling driven by the JAK2V617F mutant. It suppresses JAK/STAT pathway activation and proliferation in myeloproliferative disease models.
JAK2 transduces cytokine receptor signals to STAT transcription factors and is a driver in myeloproliferative neoplasms when mutated. LY 2784544 is useful for studying mutant JAK2 dependency and cytokine signaling inhibition.
