Description

OSS-128167 is a selective inhibitor of the NAD-dependent deacylase SIRT6 with an IC50 value of 89 µM. SIRT6 regulates histone deacetylation, DNA repair, glucose metabolism, inflammatory transcription and cellular stress responses.

OSS-128167 is used to examine the consequences of pharmacological SIRT6 inhibition in metabolic, inflammatory and cardiovascular systems. Because its biochemical potency is in the high-micromolar range, cellular experiments should include concentration-matched controls and direct SIRT6 substrate-acetylation readouts.
