Description
SRT 1720 tetrahydrochloride is a small-molecule SIRT1 activator reported to be substantially more potent than resveratrol in SIRT1-linked assay systems.
SIRT1 regulates metabolic adaptation, mitochondrial function, stress resistance and transcriptional programs linked to aging and energy homeostasis. SRT 1720 is used to probe sirtuin-dependent signaling, insulin sensitivity and mitochondrial biology.
