Description
Brassinin is a bioavailable dithiocarbamate natural-product derivative with reported activity against indoleamine 2,3-dioxygenase (IDO1) and STAT3 signaling. It suppresses kynurenine-pathway and inflammatory oncogenic signaling in reported models.
IDO1 regulates tryptophan catabolism and immune suppression through kynurenine production, while STAT3 supports tumor-promoting inflammation and survival. Brassinin is useful for studying immunometabolic and STAT3-linked anticancer mechanisms.
