Description
SPL-B (Spindlactone B) is an orally active inhibitor of transforming acidic coiled-coil protein 3 (TACC3). It disrupts centrosomal microtubule nucleation and selectively affects mitotic processes in ovarian cancer cell models.
TACC3 participates in spindle assembly, centrosome function and chromosome segregation during mitosis. SPL-B is useful for studying TACC3-dependent mitotic spindle regulation and potential cancer-selective vulnerabilities.
