Description
CCT 031374 hydrobromide is an inhibitor of TCF-dependent transcription in the Wnt/β-catenin pathway, with reported IC50 of 6.1 µM in a HEK293-based reporter assay. It acts at the β-catenin level and inhibits β-catenin/TCF-dependent transcription in SW480 colon cancer cells.
Aberrant Wnt/β-catenin transcription drives colorectal cancer progression and stem-like tumor biology. CCT 031374 is relevant for dissecting downstream β-catenin transcriptional output in cancer and developmental pathway studies.
