Description
SMT C1100 (Ezutromid) is an orally active utrophin upregulator developed for Duchenne muscular dystrophy research. It increases utrophin promoter activity and supports dystrophin-compensatory pathway studies.
Utrophin can functionally compensate for dystrophin at the muscle membrane, making its upregulation a therapeutic strategy for dystrophin-deficient muscle disease. SMT C1100 is useful for studying utrophin transcriptional regulation and muscle-protective pharmacology.
