Description
KY 05009 is an ATP-competitive inhibitor of Traf2- and Nck-interacting kinase (TNIK) with a Ki value of 100 nM. It attenuates TGF-β1-mediated Wnt and Smad signaling, epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition and phosphorylation of JNK1/2, FAK, Src and paxillin in A549 cells.
TNIK links Wnt/β-catenin signaling, TGF-β responses and cytoskeletal signaling pathways implicated in tumor progression and EMT. KY 05009 is useful for studying TNIK-dependent transcriptional and migration-associated mechanisms.
