NHI-2 caused 87% LDH-A inhibition at 125 μM (with minimal activity (11%) on LDH-B at the same concentration), exhibiting anti-proliferative activity in cancer cells. NHI 2 synergistically enhanced the activity of Gemcitabine in multiple cancer cell lines.
