3PO
- Soluble in DMSO
- MF: C13H10N2O
- MW: 210.23
Description
3PO is an inhibitor of HIF-1-induced PFKFB3, a glycolytic control enzyme that regulates fructose-2,6-bisphosphate production. It attenuates F2,6BP synthesis, glucose uptake, lactate secretion, TNFα secretion and T cell aggregation/proliferation in reported systems.
PFKFB3 has a high kinase-to-phosphatase activity ratio and supports glycolytic flux in proliferating, immune and tumor cells. 3PO is relevant for studying metabolic control of cancer growth and immune activation.
Key Features
- PFKFB3 glycolysis inhibitor
- Reduces F2,6BP synthesis and glucose uptake
- Suppresses lactate and TNFα-associated outputs
- Useful metabolic tool for tumor and immune cell studies
Applications
- Cancer metabolism research
- Glycolysis pathway assays
- T cell activation and immunometabolism studies
- PFKFB3 inhibitor profiling
