Description
MLR 1023 (Tolimidone) is a selective allosteric Lyn kinase activator with reported EC50 activity of 63 nM. It activates Lyn without significant activity against other Src-family kinases or a broad kinase panel.
Lyn participates in insulin receptor signaling, immune-cell signaling and tyrosine phosphorylation networks. MLR 1023 is used as a non-PPAR insulin-sensitizing tool compound for investigating Lyn-dependent modulation of glucose metabolism and kinase signaling.
