MHY 1485
- Soluble in DMSO
- MF: C17H21N7O4
- MW: 387.39
Description
MHY 1485 is an mTOR pathway activator that suppresses autophagic flux by interfering with autophagosome-lysosome fusion. It increases LC3-II accumulation and activates mTOR-dependent signaling in cellular models.
mTOR integrates nutrient, growth-factor and stress signals to regulate protein synthesis, autophagy, metabolism and cell growth. MHY 1485 is useful for probing the relationship between mTOR activation, lysosomal function and autophagy blockade.
Key Features
- mTOR signaling activator
- Inhibits autophagosome-lysosome fusion
- Increases LC3-II/LC3-I ratio without enhancing autophagic flux
- Useful for studying mTOR-autophagy crosstalk
Applications
- mTOR pathway research
- Autophagy and lysosomal flux assays
- Cell growth and nutrient signaling studies
- Stress response and cell-death pathway analysis
