Description
TGX 221 is a potent and selective class I PI3K p110β inhibitor that preferentially suppresses PIK3CB-dependent signaling.
PI3Kβ is particularly important in platelet activation, GPCR-driven signaling and PTEN-deficient tumors. TGX 221 is used to separate p110β function from p110α, p110δ and p110γ activity in cellular and biochemical studies.
