Description
Amthamine dihydrobromide is a selective histamine H2 receptor agonist that stimulates H2 receptor-mediated cAMP signaling.
Histamine H2 receptors regulate gastric acid secretion, cardiac responses and immune-cell functions through Gs-coupled adenylate cyclase activation. Amthamine is a standard pharmacological agonist for probing H2 receptor biology.
