T 1776Na is an inhibitor of plasminogen activator inhibitor-1 (PAI-1/SERPINE1).
PAI-1 controls fibrinolysis by inhibiting tissue-type and urokinase-type plasminogen activators and is implicated in thrombosis, fibrosis and metabolic disease. T 1776Na is useful for studying PAI-1-dependent protease regulation.
