Description
Tiplaxtinin is a small-molecule plasminogen activator inhibitor-1 (PAI-1) inhibitor that blocks the antifibrinolytic activity of PAI-1.
PAI-1 restrains tissue- and urokinase-type plasminogen activators and contributes to thrombosis, fibrosis, metabolic disease and tumor-associated remodeling. Tiplaxtinin is widely used to investigate PAI-1-dependent fibrinolysis and extracellular-matrix biology.
