Description
AMD 3100 is a highly potent and selective CXCR4 chemokine receptor antagonist with IC50 values of 0.02–0.13 μM for CXCR4 and much weaker activity at other chemokine receptors.
CXCR4/CXCL12 signaling regulates leukocyte trafficking, hematopoietic stem cell retention, tumor homing and HIV entry. AMD 3100 is a reference compound for CXCR4 blockade and stem cell mobilization studies.
