AZD2098
- Soluble in DMSO
- MF: C11H9Cl2N3O3S
- MW: 334.18
Description
AZD2098 is a potent, selective and bioavailable antagonist of the chemokine receptor CCR4, with a reported pIC50 value of 7.8. It blocks receptor activation by CCR4 ligands such as CCL17 and CCL22 and thereby suppresses downstream chemotactic signaling.
CCR4 is expressed on subsets of T helper cells, regulatory T cells and other leukocytes. AZD2098 is used to investigate CCR4-dependent immune-cell migration, airway inflammation and recruitment of type 2 inflammatory lymphocytes.
Key Features
- Potent CCR4 receptor antagonist
- pIC50: 7.8
- Selective and bioavailable
- Blocks chemokine-driven cell migration
Applications
- CCR4 receptor pharmacology
- CCL17 and CCL22 signaling studies
- Leukocyte chemotaxis assays
- Airway inflammation models
- T-cell trafficking research
