Description
SB 612111 hydrochloride is a selective and competitive nociceptin/orphanin FQ peptide (NOP) receptor antagonist.
The NOP receptor modulates pain, stress, reward, anxiety and autonomic responses through Gi/o-coupled signaling. SB 612111 is used to block endogenous nociceptin signaling and distinguish NOP-mediated effects from classical opioid receptor activity.
