Description
TCID is a potent, cell-permeant inhibitor of ubiquitin C-terminal hydrolase L3 (UCHL3) with an IC50 value of 0.6 μM and 125-fold selectivity over UCHL1. It reduces GlyT2 ubiquitination in brainstem and spinal cord primary neurons.
UCHL3 is a deubiquitinase that regulates protein ubiquitination dynamics in neuronal and cellular pathways. TCID is useful for studying UCHL3-dependent ubiquitin signaling, glycine transporter regulation and neurological disease-relevant mechanisms.
