Description
SRPIN 340 is a selective ATP-competitive inhibitor of serine/arginine-rich protein kinase (SRPK) activity with reported Ki of 0.89 µM for SRPK1. It inhibits phosphorylation of RS-repeat substrates and has limited activity against related kinases in reported profiling.
SRPK enzymes regulate SR protein phosphorylation, pre-mRNA splicing and viral replication-associated host pathways. SRPIN 340 is relevant for studying RNA splicing control and host-directed antiviral mechanisms.
