Description
CK 1827452 is a selective cardiac myosin activator that increases cardiac contractile performance by directly modulating the actin-myosin motor rather than increasing intracellular calcium.
Cardiac myosin activation enhances systolic function through sarcomere-level pharmacology and has been investigated for left ventricular systolic heart failure. CK 1827452 is used to study cardiac contractility, myosin ATPase cycling and heart-failure mechanisms.
