Description
Veliparib (ABT-888) is a potent and orally bioavailable PARP inhibitor with reported Ki values of 5.2 nM for PARP1 and 2.9 nM for PARP2.
PARP1/2 participate in single-strand break repair and DNA damage signaling. Veliparib is useful for studying PARP-dependent repair, synthetic-lethality concepts and sensitization of tumor cells to DNA-damaging chemotherapy or radiation.
