Description
GMC 1-165 is a clozapine analogue with reported affinity at 5-HT2A, 5-HT2C and human M1 receptors and little dopamine receptor affinity. It is useful for studying non-dopaminergic receptor contributions within the clozapine analogue series.
Clozapine analogues can help separate serotonergic and muscarinic activity from dopamine receptor effects. GMC 1-165 supports receptor-profile comparison and structure-activity analysis of antipsychotic-related compounds.
Another analogue and metabolite of clozapine, with an 8-hydroxy moiety, GMC1-116 (Axon 1151), is also available.
